RISE Healthcare Group
At the Cutting-Edge of Medicine and Technology
RISE Healthcare Group (RHG) was established in 2021 as a partnership between Japanese technology company Cyberdyne Inc., and a collection of Southern California outpatient Physical Therapy clinics under the common ownership of Dr. Navid Hannanvash. The flagship company within these practices is known as RISE Physical Therapy and is located in the greater San Diego area. This partnership was born out of a desire to go beyond the conventional treatment options for neuromuscular diseases by combining an established 1-on-1 treatment model of RISE Physical Therapy with Cyberdyne’s Hybrid Assistive Limb (HAL) device. The HAL device is a one of a kind blend of technology and rehabilitation used to read a patient's intent for movement and help facilitate that action via improved neuromuscular connections.
Introducing HAL
HAL (Hybrid Assistive Limb)

Through our partnership with Cyberdyne Inc., we are currently trialing this innovative approach to physical therapy with patients who have experienced strokes, traumatic brain injuries (TBI), or other progressive neuromuscular conditions.
